As vacationers and owners, we have felt the urge to streamline the process of advertising and renting at a lower cost to both the owners and travelers and, at the same time, keeping the benefits. With this in mind, we have designed a website that keeps the property owners totally in control of the rental. The site is set up to keep your autonomy on how you want to manage your rental business. It also gives you the peace of mind of never having to worry about whom you are booking your property with, when you are going to get your rental money from a 3rd party advertising website or for how long will the 3rd party hold your payment for.
With Global Luxury Vacation Rental not only you collect the rental payment, but you have control over the security deposit too, which could be vital if you have damages due to the rental. By eliminating the 3rd party security deposit hold, you are sure to have the funds available to cover for damages/expenses incurred due to the rental.
On the other hand, if the security deposit is held by a 3rd party you may end up never recovering your losses. Reporting and filing a claim for damages to a 3rd party can prove to be time consuming and a futile effort. If your timing in filing a claim is not immediate, the 3rd party may notify you that your damage reporting was late and hence, the security deposit had been already released back to the guest. Unfortunately, in this case, you are left with no means to cover the damages with the security deposit which could have been at your disposal for recovery. Your rental income gets wiped by the repairs or non-paid bills by the guest.
This website is extensively advertised in the Americas, Europe, Australia and Asia.
The annual cost for advertising your property is considerably less compared to other rental advertising websites. Please refer to our listing plans.
The traveler's inquiry is directly to the owner. The property owner will have the freedom to contact the prospective renter/guest directly, no restrictions, the guest’s contact information is available on the inquiry itself and not after the booking.
The guest will have all the owner’s contact information for direct communication. If the owner chooses so, their personal website and their contact information can be displayed on their property ad with Global Luxury Vacation Rental. Neither the guest’s nor the owner’s info is hidden as in other websites. Your privacy is kept confidential with us if you select not to advertise it.
GLVR is a platform for displaying and promoting your property, we do not collect rental payment and/or hold it. The owner is free to bill the guest directly and collect the payment.
GLVR does not collect security deposits and holds it. The owner has the freedom to collect the security deposit directly from the guest.
GLVR does not charge the guest any service fee and does not collect any service charges. All money transactions are directly made between the guest and the property owner.
We do not collect rent on your behalf in the U.S. and pay you for example in Canadian dollars or Mexican pesos. We simply do not collect. We also do not charge any percentage in processing fees for every payment made as we do not collect.
As our subscriber, your property advertisement is displayed immediately after it is approved and verified by our admin team. We do not hold your ad pending your banking details. We do not require your banking information to process guest’s payment as we do NOT receive money from your guest on your behalf.
The owners can keep the rental amount competitive as:
- The advertising charges are low compared to other websites.
- No commission/service charges are collected by GLVR from the guest.
- Hassel free renting
Also, since we do not collect payments from travelers we do not have to report to IRS (USA) or CRA (Canada) other than our subscription income. The sites who collect payments on your behalf have to disclose your name and amount paid to you on their return and you will get an assessment letter in the future for paying the taxes for those amounts if you have not declared those amounts in your return.
